The brutal killing of the four students, at the University of Idaho, which is located in Moscow Idaho, has come to a close with the sentencing of Brian Kolberger, who is the confessed killer of the four students. Brian kohlberger confessed to murder of all 4 students and burglary in a Boise courtroom under the authority of Judge Steven Hipler several weeks ago. On the 23rd of July 2025, mister kohlberger was officially sentenced to life imprisonment. A damnation He will never escape utill is death. Before the official sentencing by the Judge, the victims of the families were able to give statements to the court. Xana Kernodles mother talked about how these events had brought her to know Jesus Christ as her lord and savior. She taked about how she had grown close to Jesus since the tragedy. She forgave Mr. Kolberger. However, Kaylee Goncalves father and family were not so kind. Mr. Goncalves let Mr. Kohberger know, he had not divided the City of Moscow, but united them. Many others spoke of their relationships with the victims over the years. In the end, Idaho state judge Steven Hipler pronouced the sentence, then Judge Hipler gave Mr. Kohberger a severe tongue lashing. The court was adjourned and the victims' families exited the courtroom. Mr. Kohberger, who appeared in orange clothing was chained in belly irons, then he was turned over to the Idaho prison system. As Mr Kohberger exited the courtroom the door closed behind him forever.
During the lead up to the trial, the members of the court and investigating officers were under a gag order to not say anything about their investigation. Since Mr. Kohlberger had confessed to the crimes. Several media outlets filed a motion with the court to have the gag order removed. Judge Stephen Hipler approved that motion. On the same day, Mr. Kohlberger was sentenced, the Moscow police department released over 300 documents, redacted documents, regarding their investigation into the murders. Some interesting information has been revealed in the documents. One of the more striking revelations regards the manner of death of the four victims. The autopsy report revealed that the lethal wound, or the fatal stab, to all four victims was the severing of the subclavian vien. The subclavian vien, runs from the heart over the armpit and into the arms. The subclavian vien transports oxygen poor blood from the arms to the heart. It was a stab wound to the soft spot right below the clavicle that ended their lives. This would indicate some degree of skill or preparation. Had Mr. Kohberger killed before? Was he alone? The killer knew where to insert the knife. In addition, Kaylee Goncaalves was the only victim to receive Blunt force trauma. Did Mr Kohlberger also have a hammer. The first floor roommate reported to the police that she heard a firecracker like noise around four o'clock in the morning, on the thirteenth. This could have been the sound of a hammer striking a hardwood surface. Traditionally, a hammer has been a weapon used by white supremacist groups. A white supremacy drug group known as the Ayran Knights in cahoots with Mexican drug cartels have been plaguing the Pullman Washington, Moscow, Idaho campuses for decades. The redacted documents revealed the Moscow Idaho police department had issued a BOLO for a mexican drug dealer that was selling drugs to the sororities and fraternities in the area. In march of twenty twenty five, Chief U.S. District Judge David C. Nye, who is related to Jeff Nye one of the attorneys for the state of Idaho in this case, sentenced the head guy for the Mexican Sinaloa cartel, a TCO, in the state of idaho to twenty two years in prison in addition to several others. Furthermore, former U.S. Attorney Josh Hurwit joined the State of Idaho prosecution team against Mr.Kohberger. During Attorney Josn Hurwit tenure, as federal attorney for the state of Idaho, he pursued the Aryan Knights drug gang with relentless fury. During the guilty phase Mr. Hurwit sat at the prosecution table next to Bill Thompson the lead prosecutor. As Mr. Kohlberger confessed to the murders of the 4 college students, it wasn't a loss to the viewing public when Mr. Hurwit turned his head 45 degrees toward Mr.Kohlberger and gave him brutal stare down. Message received! Lastly, the father of Kaylee Goncalves asked Mr. Kohberger, during the victim impact statements, what he did with the second weapon? Or was there another person? Bill thompson, the lead prosecutor for the State of Idaho stated, he could find no connection between Mr. Kohberger and the victims. Yet, the redacted documents released by the Moscow police department reveal an underlying determination to find a drug connection. In addition, one of the items of evidence that was going to be presented at trial were videos of Mr. Kohlberger at a local marijuana smoke shop in Pullman Washington. Odd! what would the significance of that have been? Since many of the actions of Mr. Kohlberger indicate forethought and preparation. It's highly unlikely he randomly picked the 1122 King road house on a random night.
